Mission Concept Academy
As the Project Manager of Team 28, I managed a team of 15 and organized the team's operations and procedures, such as: scheduling weekly meetings, leading task distribution, conducting progress checks, and maintaining consistency across deliverables. We wrote a 183-page Preliminary Design Review proposal for the NASA mission lifecycle of a robotic space mission. Here is a sample writing of the team's proposal; for academic property purposes and respect for the other members of the team, the entire proposal is not publicly available. RhythEMS — Wearable 'Loop Pedal'
Engineering Interactive Devices
As a final project for my Engineering Interactive Devices class, I worked with a partner, Elena Hertel, to design and build a wearable device that incorporates EMS and a loop pedal. The user records a rhythm with a drumstick, and the device plays this rhythm on a loop using EMS. I developed the circuitry for the device and created the final protoboard. I also wrote the code to control the EMS output.
Mobile Theremin — iOS Application
Mobile Computing
As a final project for my Mobile Computing class, I worked with two partners to design and implement an iPhone and Apple Watch app that simulates a theremin. Our application uses the gyroscope sensor on the Apple Watch to simulate the pitch control of the theremin and the TrueDepth sensor on the iPhone to simulate volume amplitude. We were awarded 2nd place project in our class.
